Physical Training
Physical fitness is a major part of a cadet's life in the Corps of Cadets. We believe that fitness is a life-long goal and aim to improve the fitness of all incoming freshmen. Cadets in F-2 will participate in physical training with the outfit on Wednesday and Friday mornings before formations, as well as occasionally in the afternoons.
Cadets are required to pass a physical fitness test each semester, which consists of a timed pushups test, a timed situps test, and a one a half mile run.
Outfit activities range from distance runs, circuit training, calisthenics, and swimming to lifting weights at the recreational center or even relaxing with a game of ultimate frisbee or football. We work hard to play hard.
